The heart of "Punto Studio all’Opera"
“Children have a right to knowledge, as a fundamental requirement for the recognition of human dignity.” These words, taken from Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic exhortation Dilexi te, resonate deeply within the Antognozzi Foundation Onlus, which for years has translated this principle into concrete action through its Punto Studio all’Opera program. Born as a response to the educational needs of children and young people, Punto Studio all’Opera is much more than an after-school program: it is a space for holistic formation, where culture intertwines with faith, and learning becomes a tool for empowerment, growth, and hope.
Sowing the Future: The Educational Project of the Foundation
Punto Studio all’Opera, based at the Opera FCIM in Villa Troili, Rome, welcomes children and teenagers free of charge each week, with special attention to foreign nationals, migrants, and families facing hardship. The program offers, in particular:
- Personalized academic support
- Recreational and educational activities inspired by Christian values
- Human and spiritual accompaniment
Each session is designed to affirm the dignity of the individual, nurture curiosity, strengthen skills, and foster healthy relationships. The volunteers engaged in this service embody the Foundation’s vision: to educate is to love, to serve, and to “build” people.
Faith and Culture: A Transformative Partnership
As Pope Leo XIV reminds us, "Christian education does not only form professionals, but also people open to goodness, beauty and truth" (Dilexi te, n. 72). Punto Studio all’Opera remains faithful to this calling: every activity is designed to honor the image of God present in each child and young person, providing them with tools to understand the world with intelligence, sensitivity, and critical awareness. Thus, the Punto Studio all’Opera program is a small seed that, day after day, blossoms into transformed lives.

Pope Leo writes: "Catholic schools [...], when they are faithful to their name, are places of inclusion, integral formation and human development. By combining faith and culture, they sow the seeds of the future, honor the image of God and build a better society" (Dilexi te, n. 72). The Punto Studio all’Opera social initiative is a concrete response to this mandate: to educate in order to transform society, to serve in order to honor the dignity of every child, and to sow and nurture today so that tomorrow we may reap fruits of goodness.
