All Together “at the Opera”
Social Project Activities Resume at the FCIM Opera House in Rome
Once again this year, the Social Project activities organized by the Fondazione Antognozzi Onlus have resumed at the FIHM Opera House in Rome.
At the heart of the initiative is “Punto Studio all’Opera”, a free tutoring and study support service for elementary, middle, and high school students. It is a valuable resource for local families, while also serving as a bridge to introduce them to the mission of the Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Beyond providing the ideal environment for academic support and social inclusion, the project aims to offer participants both human and spiritual formation. This is made possible through the involvement of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and dedicated lay volunteers who help share the charism of the Family.
The name “Punto Studio all’Opera” refers not only to the physical places—study points—where children and teens engage in learning and play, but also to the space where the Family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary “operates” in its mission of service and love.
The social project also includes several workshops designed for children and young people, offering them the chance to explore their talents, discover new skills, and develop their potential. These activities blend learning with fun, creating an environment where growth happens through joy.
This year’s workshops include:
An English lab, led by a native Canadian teacher to support conversational skills;
A cooking lab, with themed evenings to explore regional and international recipes;
A creative lab, where kids can craft and strengthen their manual skills;
A sewing lab, where they can learn the art of mending and tailoring;
And for the youngest participants, an animated reading lab, featuring a small puppet theater that brings stories to life, allowing children to create their own characters and watch them “perform” on stage.
Every workshop includes time for a snack or play, helping to foster a spirit of fraternity, along with gentle reminders of the presence of Jesus and Mary—even if it's just a moment of gratitude for a warm cup of hot chocolate shared with friends.
